Making A Tail

This session the right tail appeared.  It's also got some left hand gargoyle added.  Slowly it's coming together.  This is less than a quarter of the whole.

Yummy Mushroom Placinte

I don't know why, but most places you just can't get mushroom placinte.  La Taifas had really great ones made fresh from scratch.  Unfortunately there was a four alarm fire in the building where the restaurant is about a month before we left.  I hope it reopens.

Gift From Carolina

Carolina made this beautiful temari for me as a parting gift.  It's even in Moldovan colors so I will always have a bit of Moldova with me.  Thank you Carolina!

On The Sidewalk

One of Mattie's last times enjoying the sidewalk at home in Moldova.  She loved lying there looking back at the house.

New Daily

This is my new daily stitch.  I hope to have it done in another week or so.  It's fun actually finishing things after so long.  Right now, about half the cross stitches are done.  There's a lot of back stitching to do too.

A New Baby Aghan

This afghan is going to the Caldwells for their new baby due this month.  I'm mailing it to Chisinau at their request, as it will be one less thing in the suitcase on the way home from medevac.  I think it came out pretty well.  It's a V-stitch granny pattern.
