Dinner At The Lodge

The meal on our first night was served outdoors.  It was cooked on grills and we at at tables around them.  Every night at Mokuti lodge is some kind of buffet.  I started with mushroom soup and a salad.  The "wild" meat of the night was oryx.  It was overcooked, but everything else was really, really good.

Bring A Branch

I am really disappointed with the lack of contrast in this piece so far, but I did manage to get some of the branch done.

Racist Food?

Spur Restaurants in Namibia are a chain of low end steak houses that serve breakfast too.  They have a Native American theme that is quite patronizing.  The food was pretty good, especially for the price, but the decor ... needs to be brought out of its racist meme.  We had breakfast, by the way.

Round The Waterhole

So Much Honeydew

There's so much honeydew Waterlilies in this central area!  I notice it more because I am working on this daily at the moment.
