Back To The Water Hole

When at Etosha, we basically drove between water holes.  The animals walked between them.  These photos are all near one close to the east gate.

Along the edge of the salt pan there are very few trees.  These animals were wandering across the plain.

Breakfast At Mokuti

The star of breakfast was the custom made omelettes.  They were delicious.  The rest - the fruit was fresh, the cheese aged, and  the pastries baked on premises from previously frozen dough.  Things were good, but not excellent.  Breakfast choices did not vary by day, either.  On the other hand, breakfast was served before dawn every day - meaning you could get to the park at the crack of dawn with a full stomach!

End Of July

July's done.  So it's seven out of twelve months completed.  Makes me realize how quickly the year goes.

More Mokuti Food

More food from Mokuti Lodge.  We noticed that all the foods repeat often and that the soups seem to be cream based.  They have pretty good cooks, but they need an actual chef to raise them to the next level.
