Decan In Dreary Day

Decan chapel is such a simple and elegant structure.  It's the original structure from the fourteenth century.  For some reason, every time I go, though, there are clouds.  The second photo is some of the outbuildings.

I am getting to practice more long and short stitch.  I like the way it's looking so far.

More Renfair Meal

As you can see from the photos, we didn't lack for food.  I put less on my plate than most, and couldn't eat it all.  The food was fresh, hot, and tasty.  Almost everyone sniggered at the spotted dick, though, especially after the intro song to it...

This is going pretty quickly.  The stitches are so big and I feel an accomplishment with each motif.
