On To The Fishmonger- Naples Food Tour

Dried and reconstituted cod is evidently a big part of Naples cuisine, as it is in Spain and Portugal I don't like fish, so I skipped. They had some olives too. While the Portuguese and Spanish use milk to reconstitute and the bake or fry it, the Italians use water, slice it, and serve it as a kind of carpaccio.

A Little More Visible

This snowflake is truly hard to see. It comes a bit more clear with the beads at least.

More Tail, More Heads

I filled in the head a bit and did some of the blue tail and green tail.

Chad On A Pad

Chad lounging on a dog bed looking cute. He's now the full width of the dog bed. And he still uses it.

Naples Streets

We walked place to place on the food tour. This bit of scenery was from the bakery to the fishmonger.

The top photo is of a family memorial in a niche of their house. The rest are street scenes, including some of the gates of the old city.

Naples Food Tour - First Stop, Bakery!

We did a food tour when we were in Naples. I wish we could get some pastries like this here. They were sooo good. Anyway, not only did we get to taste them, we got to go in the back and see how they were made.

Frog Eyes

This is a Dimensions kit called Frog Pile. I changed out the white Aida for this sparkly evenweave. And... it's started. The top has frog eyes, for some reason.
