Time for the Text

I've stitched this piece once and given it away. This time it's for me. And it's time to add the text.

 

One Last Flower

Halfway through one last flower. It's that and two blades of grass to call this finished.

 

Watching the Horses

Would have been better with nicer weather, but it was fun to watch the horses race. We had a good view, even with just general admission tickets. The course was so very green despite it being October.

 

Lunch in Alexandria

After Woodlawn, we went to have lunch in Alexandria. My salad was huge.

 

Rescued Birds

The Wola sanctuary not only rescues bison, it rescues birds. Andreas' favorite part.

 

Recovered Items

Things (and people) left on the battlefield.... with weird lighting.

 

Side Trip

Every trip to Wroclaw includes a side trip to Boleslawiec.

 

Needlepoint Progress

Still need to get this finished, too. TIme to dig it out after all the travel and just get it done. I truly love the piece so far.

 

Start of My Goldwork Design

I decided on a fairly hard design for my goldwork class. It's a Ukrainian trident  with wheat coming out the middle. I hope I can do it justice.

 

All Lodged Up

This came out kind of cute - Lodge with an Owl from a kit. Now to make it into something.

 

Christmas Exchange

Another advent exchange with a bunch of snacks. This was from Florida, and a lot of the things went to the Marines.

Woodlawn

Friends and I visited Woodlawn and the Frank Lloyd Wright house there, then saw the needlework show in the main house. It was a pretty spring day.
