Two days after we arrived in Angola CLO had organized a lunch. We went; our sponsors were gracious enough to give us a ride. The place was Fazienda. It's hard to find and in a farther part of town. Since we were money strapped from not being able to cash a check, we ended up with pasta. It was okay; the sauce was nothing more than olive oil and a bit of lemon juice. Not exactly a great introduction to Angola. Our second dinner out, a couple of weeks later, was much better but Andreas didn't let me take photos.

Superior Grill
We had to go to Shreveport to pick up the puppy and evil cats before leaving the country. While there, we had dinner with Andreas' parents at Superior Grill. They've changed their menu some. We shared the nachos. I had barbacoa tacos and Andreas had enchiladas, as did his mother. His father had chili rellenos. The food was pretty good, but I wish we had Mexican here.

Not A Fan
While we were out shopping to fill up our cooler to take to Africa we stopped for dinner at Carraba's. The atmosphere was all about little kids - there were LOTS of them. And it was noisy. The menu was small and very much repackaging the same five things into different dishes. We did order things. The waitress was obviously distracted, the food was meh, and we won't be going back. Lesson learned.
