Outlined

My waffle stitch is truly outlined now.

Plant Pyramid

This was the January Darby Smart.  I made it earlier this week.  The pipe cutter they gave with the kit sucked.  We eventually used a Dremel tool.  The rest went okay, and I now have a little pyramid plant holder for the office.

Degas Horse

Before he painted ballerinas, Degas painted horses as a teenager.  This is one.  The other is a landscape by another artist.

Hard To See

It's difficult to see progress when you're stitching in black on black, but the photo makes it evident that I -am- making progress.

Finished Brocante

After getting all the design parts, I always planned on finishing this piece after the bands.  The rest of the sampler, with its jumble of motifs, just didn't appeal to me.  So here I sit with another finished product.  I think I have a spring cleaning bug hitting hard because we are moving at the end of the summer and it's time to clean out the old and get rid of stuff we don't want.

More Feathers

I received these a couple of weeks ago.  I think I might take one to Mumbai with me in a couple of weeks.  I can do it after my long days at work.

Picasso's Plates

These plates were made by Picasso while he had children living with him.  I see them as his attempt to get his kids  to clean their plates!
