I'm almost done with this - except I ran out of black beads lastweek. I'm waiting for the ones my daughter sent to me on Thursday in the mail. They should get here some time this week. Then, I can finish the purse. It'll be a good thing. I've really liked this project, though. I'll be making more purses and other things with this technique.

Very nice!
That was an EGA national seminar class, wasn't it? Last year?
Hmmm, I guess I'd better get to work on MY seminar class projects, eh?
This is Year of the UFO (mostly, probably. grin.)

Yup, last year's seminar class. Once I complete this, I'll have my seminar pieces done. The beads arrived yesterday, so I'll be able to work on it next week.
Good luck on your UFO's. Just don't let the cats get sick again and take away your stitching time.
It's gorgeous! I've enjoyed following your progress. Can't wait to see it finished!
I found your blog and have been going through all your posts. I was in this Ribbons and Roses beaded purse with Deanna Powell in Richmond too. (I ran out of beads for both this project and another beading class I had with Deanna Powell.) I also thought I would make another purse with this technique when I finished, but so far I haven't. So many projects so little time.
