I had my first dinner out in Kosovo, at a restauraunt up the street from where I'm staying. It was a nice place and the balcony had an excellent view of the city. My companion, though, left his camera, so no pictures. We're going walking today, and I'll make certain he brings it this time, else I'll threaten to take photos with my phone. He'll be horrified.

Nice to see you posting from Kosovo and looking forward to see some photos as I have never been there and don't think that I ever will so you will be our eyes :-)
How is the weather over there and the food?
Pierrette =^..^=
Hi Meg,
This is moving right along and I'm enjoying seeing your process.
What did you have for dinner?
Cynthia
Windy Meadow
Hi Cynthia and Pierrette - The weather's been very nice, if a bit on the warm side. And for dinner Friday night, I had excellent sauteed mushrooms and a lamb roast the was overdone and probably mutton. My companion had a cheese tray that was really good and shish kebabs. The food over here is so so. Every other restaurant is a pizzeria! Oh, and evidently I was supposed to mention that at that dinner, the prime minister of Kosovo and his entourage sat at the table next to us.
