 This was a little burger place we ended up having lunch at.  Burgers were huge and good, and the surroundings were eye candy.

Leaving The Castle

 It's time to leave the castle and explore some of Edinburgh proper.  These photos are of the outer parking lot area as we leave to walk the Royal Mile.  Oh, and the view from the parking lot...

Central Square

Two sides of the central square of the castle.  The first photo shows where the World War I memorial is.  The back is royal apartments.

The Royal Apartments

Unfortunately not furnished, the royal apartments are surprisingly small. The walls and ceilings have nice detail, though.

Cemetery By The House

These are the last photos from our drive.  The tents are flower stalls selling mostly bedraggled or plastic flowers.  The cemetery wall keeps in the bodies of the formerly most influential people in Angola.  When there's a funeral here, there is a major traffic jam.  For all the ggovernment big wigs buried here, it's not well kept up, and it's not safe to walk in due to crime.

Downtown

This is pretty much downtown Luanda.  As you can see, it's sparkling and beautiful.  Not.  A -lot- of people live within the downtown area of the city; there are many deteriorating apartment buildings.  Many even have raw sewage running out.
