A somewhat big project start, but I didn't do many this time. I deserve it.

 

Branching Out the Green

Lots of little green dots here, and lots of specialty stitches to fill in on this morning glory design.

 

Slowly I Border

Little bits of border done. At least I'm doing some of the inner extra stitches at the same time to get them done. I feel so slow.

 

One Corner Rounded

On to start the second side, and I have one fence backstitched.

A quarter of the last part's cross stitching done. Yay!

Over halfway on the top. I am getting sooo slow at stitching this year. It seems I'm always busy.

24 for 2024 #1: Morning Glory by The Drawn Thread

I've officially started one of the kits from The Drawn Thread that I bought in Wales last October. Yay! And I think it'll be pretty.

 

Heart Framed

Andreas didn't straighten the heart charm before taking the photo, but it's framed now. I am getting lots of these things done and out into the world.

 

24 for 2024 #17: Bliss by Just Nan

I am trying to clear out some old charts and make them, so this was started this time. It's been in my stash for a loooong time. It will be a bit of a stitch because it's fairly big.

 

Added Some Crenellations

I added some crenellations on the right as I worked my way across the top outer edge.

 

On One Eight

Just about an eighth of the way around. Lots to go yet on this last part.

 

Making Flowers

Making up the flower border now. 

 

From the Nimble Thimble

Andreas and I took a trip out to the middle of no where when we were in Wales. And that is exactly where the Nimble Thimble was. So I bought a bunch pf Drawn Thread kits she had made with silk.

 

On the Last Round

I have officially started part twelve on the top left. All the way around it goes, and then all that is left is beading and the rest of the special stitches. Might not be done this year, but certainly early next.

 

All Tidy Now

The border makes this look a bit more finished, but there's still another part to go - little ornaments all the way around. At least I will get more of the special stitches done while doing that.

 

All But the Border

Part 11's cross stitching is done except for the border. Things are coming along on this, but still a ways to go.

 

Now to Draw the Line

All of part 11 done except drawing the rest of the line. Then off to part 12.

 

Closer to Finishing 11

I am almost done with the last corner, and with the stripe, will be done with part 11 of 12 - minus extra specialty stitches and beads. This -will- be done by the end of the year.
