Bit of a Dump

This didn't finish well - it's off center and the color combo didn't sit well with me. So into the donation bin it went.

 

Biscornu Start

This is Dawn, a biscornu kit from Riolis. I got it as part of a sale due to the war of Russian agression. A Lithuanian company was selling off all their Russian stock and giving the proceeds to Ukraine. I bought a few kits. So far, this is a -lot- of half stitches.

 

Finished Totally Now

Yay, a biscornu completely finished!  Now it goes on display with the temari because Andreas wants to keep it.

Stitching's Done

Time to put this biscornu together.  I might try to in Vienna.  Happy with the way it turned out.

One And A Half

Yay, one and a half sides done!  I'm getting close!

Star-ting

 There are definitely star shapes on both sides now, and the vertical star side is nearing completion.  Yay!

To The Edge

I am able to work to the edge now on this.

Second Striping

I had extra red thread and no where to use it on the first side, so the second's started.

Five Points

It's up to five points now.  Looking better, too.  I was worried for a bit.

A Star Emerges

This star has four legs now.  The stitching goes quickly, and I hope to have it done before Christmas.

March's Little Extra In Progress

I decided to make a biscornu for the CyberStitchers EGA chapter Little Extra this month.  It's coming along well.  I changed out every color, as it was originally in autumnal colors.  You can see the original here.  I think it's going to be pretty.

Biscornu From Frances

Frances sent me  this lovely biscornu with the cutest googly-eyed fish card.  Thank you Frances, I enjoy them both!

All Stitched Up

I finished and mailed out this biscornu at the end of January.  I like how it turned out, even with all the fussy bits.  Am thinking of making it again, but with variegated threads from Cosmo.  Have them all picked out an with the chart; just need to find a place in my rotation.

Just Need To...

I am at the point of putting these two pieces together to make a biscornu!  It's all stitched and ready to do.

Middle's Done

I've got the middle part done in this.  Yay, progress!  When I picked this up to do for an exchange, I didn't realize I'd have to stitch both sides.

Crazy #9 - Let's Get Fancy Biscornu

This is my crazy start number nine.  Since it's also for an exchange, you'll see it for at least a couple of weeks more.

Made for Exchange

Friendly Stitchers had a biscornu exchange over the summer.  This is what I sent to Jo a couple of weeks ago.  It started off as a Faby Reilly design and then I did a lot of changes on it.  Jo says she likes it and the goodies I included with.  Yay, success!

Other Gift Biscornu Part

Here's the other biscornu I made for the gift quilt.  It's an adaptation of a needlepoint design called "Captured Hearts".  I think it came out pretty well.

Belated Posting

I made this a few months ago as part of a quilt for someone sick.  The idea was for several of us to come together and stitch biscornu fronts and backs for someone to put together into a quilt.  These two squares are one of my two biscornu for the project.  They were done with a French perle cotton on linen.  The recipient just got her quilt on Friday!
