Andreas' Favorite Krakow Restaurant

Andreas loves this restaurant. It serves traditional Polish meals, including wild game. Everything is fresh and tasty.

Greek Treats

There were a bunch of cracker-y things in this box. Andreas liked them. I am having the llokum. Andreas had the croissant-ish thing as breakfast on the way down to the Radom Air Show. Pretty much a winner box.

Meh Italian

We were in a hurry for lunch and made the mistake of eating on the main square. While the food was decent, service was glacial and the price was high.

Krakow Hotel Food

We went down to Krakow last November for work and ate lunch at the Sheraton Grand, where we were staying. The food was okay but over priced, as most hotel food. There's definitely better in Krakow.

At the Diner

Andreas' parents took us to a well known diner a couple of towns over from Colorado Springs. It was gooood. The portions were huge, though. They are well known for their shakes, so Andreas had one. I had a mushroom cheeseburger and Andreas had a reuben.

New Smoker

Tested out the new smoker. Even found real brisket. Only problem was they trimmed too much fat. But it worked.

Dinnertime Swap

This was my second swap with Marion in the US, and we did a dinnertime swap. I sent her a bunch of kits and spices for dinner, and she did the same. I found out I actually like the swedish meatball kit, and a lot of the marinades have already been put to good use. I keep the packets on my kitchen island and pick one randomly for dinner a couple of times a week. Thank you so much, Marion!

Restaurant Week Warsaw - Magari

Warsaw has a version of restaurant week and we participated. You prebook your table and meal for about $30-40 each at one of about 40 restaurants, and go and enjoy. Meals are three courses plus a drink and sometimes an amuse bouche.
We liked the menu at Magari, a hotel restaurant downtown with a terrace, so we went. Andreas had the pasta and I had the steak. Mine came with peach soup! It was interesting. I am also going to have to do my watermelon with a balsamic glaze, because it was delicious. Everything was wonderful, and we will go back soon.
