Backstitching Second Side

The top is finally all back and specialty stitched up on this part. Time to work on the left and to continue cross stitching the bottom.

Sneek Backstitching

I finished the backstitching on this part of the pattern. Time for more alphabet.

Picture This Plus Fabric

Stitchers' Village had a Picture This Plus sale. I bought a few pieces and have already been using some of them for my stitch maynia starts.

Cologne Lunch

It was almost constantly raining when we were in Cologne in December. While cruising the Christmas markets, we ducked into a random pub for lunch. The goulash was perfect for a cold, wet day.

New Bell

Woot, first bell on the third corner started. Slowly this is getting done.

Owlet Framed

This piece was perfect for a tiny wooden hoop, so that's what I used. Andreas will hang it up in his office one day.

Stitch Maynia #11: Random Meadow

An easy stitch with a lot of straight stitches. Not sure what to do with the orange fuzz balls.

Cologne Zoo

We went to the Cologne zoo while we were on our short visit. It was cold and damp, so we didn't stay long. The zoo is worth a visit.

Peacock Box Opened

My peacock box from stitchy box is opened. I am disappointed in this because too much tiny stuff like charms and not enough fabric or threads. Also, I feel the pattern is not up to standard.

Stitch Maynia #10:: Lunation

This is a piece I have been dying to start. I love it, and have chosen fabric and threads from various stitchy box stuff to make it.

Stitch Maynia #9: Wildwood

A pretty little mandala piece to do. It shouldn't take much time to finish when I get back to it.

Cologne Statue

This statue was at the side of the bridge across the Rhine by our hotel in Cologne. It looks kind of cool at night.

New Nails

I decided to try some stick on nails. Some day soon I hope to put them on.

Stitch Maynia #8: Swarm of Bees

My bee has legs.

Stitch Maynia #7: X Octogon 34

This is the X that gives the piece its name...

Skating In Amsterdam

We went to the local ice rink by the Rijksmuseum and watched the boys skate. I gave them a few pointers on how to do it a bit better, balance wise.

Stitch Maynia #6: Flower Power

Changed up the colors on this majorly. The fabric isn't quite as dark as the photo. I like the look.

Jodyri April

The colors this time are pretty. I am beginning to use some of the floss in stitch maynia projects. Not found proper things for the fabric yet.

Column Tops

The column tops are in place. It means I'm getting to the interesting parts!

Netherlands Sky

While we were in the Netherlands, it rained a lot. Here, the sky out the window of the train to Amsterdam looks like it's got a bit of sun peeking through.

Three And A Half Trees

I am so happy I get to work on something new soon! Things are moving along.

Starting A Stem

Now the flower is done I'm starting the stem up above it. I've stitched quite a bit!

Ipsy April

This was my April ipsy bag. It was kind of blah, but had a lot of stuff in it.

Leiden Christmas Market

We took the children of a friend to the Leiden Christmas market. It's in the river on floating docks and includes a skating rink! The rest was pretty small, but pretty too. We ate lunch, looked around, and rode the train home.

Owlet Alarm Done

One more little finish from stitch maynia gone by. He's kind of cute.

Mill Hill Kits

When I ordered extra beads for my M'Lady's Quadrielle, I ordered these too.

Stitch Maynia #5: Snowflakes

Another start, and from a pattern I received in a Stitchy Box. The thread and linen weren't, though. I have so many things to finish...
