Only black and white so far. This is my first time stitching with Sulky as the main fiber.

 

Brightening

The addition of so much red has brightened this up quite a bit.

Random Leg

The third frog has a random leg sticking out on the right, so that is what I have started working on to finish him off.

 

First Washcloth

Trying to use up some of my yarn, so I made a washcloth. Going to make other things, too, as I want to get my stash down.

 

Farewell Lunch

Didn't manage to take any photos of the food at Mozaik, but the top photos are the dessert. We had a lunch in February 2020 for Juliana, since she was leaving the section.

This is some food from February 2020. It's either Lisa's restaurant or Gresa. Not sure which. It was well presented, though.

Andreas found a toad in the road outside our house.

 

Communist Burgers

The only place we really ate out at was Kolektiv, a burger bar on the square. It was okay, but very communist leaning. I have no idea how entrepreneurs end up with such an ideology. We had to sit outside, which made it a bit wet and windy.

 

Filling In Pink

I was afraid the darker colors would melt into the light pink, but it looks like not.

So much done on the third frog. It's almost done. I guess I'll go back to the middle next.

Impromptu Charcuterie

Most restaurants were outdoor seating or take out. Those that were open at all. And it was rainy. What else to do but go to the grocery store and make our own charcuterie plate and play games in the hotel room?

Sad Marriott Breakfast

The Skopje Marriott during COVID is a sad place. The business lounge isn't open and they didn't give us any compensation for it being closed. Considering it was a large reason why we picked there, we weren't happy. On top of  that, breakfast was sad. No buffet to choose from. And just ... sad.

 

Beginning To Brown

Little bits of brown appear as the glass begins to fill with wine.

 

One More Line

One more line done on this. It didn't come with us to Greece, so it's sitting there pining to get finished.

 

Mmmmmango

Leonora got me this lovely gift of mango personal care products. She knows how much I love mango and how it reminds me of Mattie. I took a couple of these things on my current trip to Greece. Thank you, Leonora, for the thoughtful and kind gift.
