Quilting Stash

Picked up while in the US and time to quilt. If I can find the time. I've been working on finishing an old project at this point.

 

Quilt Show in Brno

In Brno center, on our way to the Christmas Market, we stumbled on a quilt show. Of course we went in. There were some fantastic quilts, including one made by a Czech astronaut. She quilted part of it in space. It looks like the view from the portholes. This is a very active quilt club. I wish I had one close here in Warsaw.

 

Another Sewscription

This one was from over the summer. Still a lot of orange. I don't know the fascination with orange. How about a color on the cool side of the spectrum?

Is there something about orange that makes it such a frequent color for these subscription boxes? I guess I need to make an orange quilt.

This time a mini vacuum and a bunch more orange. I do not understand this company's obsession with orange fabrics.

This little peacock set caught my eye at the Brno Patchwork Guild's sale, so I bought them.

 

Multiple Sewscriptions

Catching up on the subscription box postings. I am getting kind of tired of the blue/orange color scheme they use so much in this subscription box. I do have to start sewing again soon. Once I unearth my sewing station from all the stuff that's on top of it from people "cleaning" the dining room.

 

Gift from Andreas

I believe he thinks I am not going to be busy enough while he's in Ukraine. It's a pretty pattern and I will try to complete it while he's gone. Thank you dear.

This box is a bit less orange than the previous ones. Now to figure out what to do with the charm squares.

More orange in this box, too, but it's a jelly roll and has blue. I will definitely be able to do something with it.

A lot of the stuff I've been receiving is so -orange-. It's a color I'm not fond of, but I guess I'll treat it like a challenge. But first, I need to find time to clean off my sewing machine.

Betsy made a wonderful quilting design on this! Now I have to bind it. I think it'll make a good small wall hanging.

 

All Quilted Up

My mother in law Betsy quilted this with her machine for me. It's going to make a great blanket when I put the binding on. Thank you!

 

Hawthorne Fabric Stash

After buying all this, I really need time to quilt. I have two days off next week, so hopefully I can work a bit on quilting then.

 

Quilt Kit Done

Finished this quilt kit that came in a subscription box. I much prefer the boxes that are project oriented.

 

Lap Quilt Top

This lap quilt top is ready to be sent off to Betsy for quilting. Yay! Something else finished.

Andreas' mom made this beautiful quilt for him. He loves it.
