Friendly Stitchers had a Christmas in July exchange, and I was paired with Dorrie. I misunderstood the assignment and finish-finished her ornament for her. I need to put this one together.

Friendly Stitchers had a Christmas exchange and I was able to participate for once! So I received this from Mary in France - an ornament, some trim, some thread, and a nice note. All of it lovely. The ornament will go on my tree next year. Thank you, Mary!

Off To France

I sent this off to France for my exchange last week, along with some Christmas chocolate. It cost more than $40 to ship! Weighs under a pound. How expensive!

Redditgifts DIY Gift

I did the redditgifts DIY exchange, and was pretty disappointed with this book that did not meet minimum expenditure and was just blah.

I received these pens in a redditgifts exchange. Andreas put the cartridge in the fountain pen for me, but I've been too busy lately to try anything out. Frustrating! Not going to get better over the summer.

Christmas In July

I received these two beautiful little Christmas ornaments in exchange.  Jessica made them and she did a great job!  Now I need to wait until November to hang them around my central arch.  Thank you Jessica!

Thank You Greta

I received a package upon my return from France.  It was from Greta and in exchange for the firecracker Independence Day ornament I sent her.  The ornament is about an inch across.  The threads are beautiful.  Thank you kindly, Greta.

 I don't know why this has decided to load sideways.  It was upright in the original photo.  Anyway, I participated in a Friendly Stitchers Independence exchange, and this is the ornament I made for my partner Greta.  I hope she likes it.
