Eight Sides Done

After finishing the alphabet basket sampler, I turned around and finished this, too.  I think it came out pretty well.  Off to another stitching adventure.

Left Behind

These are the last of the ships we saw.  None of them were in anything but pathetic and sad shape.

More Gargoyles

Two more gargoyles are well started toward the middle.  I'm almost officially halfway done.

Possible Tourist Area

Someone is trying to build up a resort on the beach.  It'd be popular, as it's only an hour out of town - except for the beached ship right in front.

Little Pinwheels

I got one more rectangle filled in before I left for Florida. This will be the state it's in when I get back next week.

Bits Of Boats

These boats are all battered and rusted, including one that is all the way up to the command tower.  No more boat.

From A Distance

The boats look kind of pretty from a distance.  If you look closely, though, you can see piles of boats where the waves have rammed them together or beached them on the shore.

Given To Mom

Yay, a medium sized finish!  I think it came out pretty well, and Mom loves it. So it's hers.  She's going to get it framed.

All Swirls Down

All the  swirls are now stitched.  I've still got filling in to go, though.

Another Derelict Up Close

Another rusting hulk.  You'd think they'd at least want to recycle all that steel.  But no, in Angola they let it go to waste.
