I've got half my maze outlined now. And have reached the bottom!

 

Encompassed

My compass rose is done. I need to make it into an ornament. Luckily, Andreas got me a new circle cutter!

 

Big Germ

The big germ is about done. And some bars and squiggles on the side.

 

Little Ornament Ready to Gift

These colors remind me of Uzbekistan, and since that is a place the recipient loves, I think this will be a perfect gift.

 

All Blue and Red

This stitched up fairly quickly once I brought it back out, and I think it looks good.

 

Red Stripe Almost Done

Going through the most compensatory part of the red strip, and it's almost done. Looking good so far.

 

Working on the Knot

Added this into my rotation, as I figure it may take a while but it'll be easy.  Time to get all the outlines done so I can work on the fill.

 

Getting the Big Germ

The centerpiece is beginning to take shape.
 

Second Wingtip

Second wingtip is started; now I can start working down on both.

 

Three and a Half

This stitch takes up -so- much thread. But it looks good, at least.

 

Making the Rods

One rod done and the rest visible. Plus a round one almost complete. 

 

Filling a Wing

My first wing is taking shape.

 

Wingtip

I've made it to the top of the first wingtip. It's all downhill from here.

 

Summer Sorbeted

This looks so nice and bright now.

 

Squared Up Again

This looks done the way it is, but there's more to fill in. 

 

Beginning to Wing It

A good start on a butterfly wing. This butterfly will take a bit, bit it's the focal point of the piece.

 

Filling in a Border

This is the foundation layer of a three layered composite stitch for the border filling. I do like how the middle showed up.

 

Rounding the Middle

The middle quatrefoil is almost complete.

 

Diamonded

My Mexican Tile is finally on my rotation, and it looks like it might actually be a fairly quick stitch. I'm enjoying it.

 

Melrose Abbey Complete

Finished only 20 years after I bought it ... but it's done!
