Stuff from Science Museum

Some of my favorite parts of the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry were closed last month when we visited, but we did get to see the textile room. Picked up a few souvenirs.

 

Baker's Twine for Finishing

The only thing I could find to buy at this chain craft store in a bad neighborhood in Manchester was baker's twine. So very lame.

 

Benningbrough Hall - Fantastic Skies

Andreas took these drone photos in the area of York when we were there almost two years ago. The skies are awesome.

 

Drone Over Whitby

Andreas got some spectacular photos from his drone at Whitby.  It was kind of cute following us on our walk from the abbey to the car park.

These loom weights were found at Whitby Abbey, and were used in  the weaving house.
