An About Time Finish

After a couple of years, Oriental Courage is finally done.  It's my first Heaven and Earth Designs finish, too!  It's for Andreas, so I think we'll turn it into part of a netbook cover or something similar.

Itching To finish

I have maybe ten rows left.  I think it's time to just start working until it's done.

Some Colors

I've put a few colors of the ten on this to bed.  They're done.  I still need to complete about 25 more rows, though.

A Few More Lines

I've added a few more lines.  Eager to get this done.

I'm just going back and forth on the background looking to finish this up!

Working my way down and around the red and black.  It's just growing downwards slowly.

Crazy January Challenge Day 2

I decided to put something I am committed to finishing soon on the challenge for my first "old" piece.  It's HAED's Oriental Courage, and I only have about forty rows to go.  It's so close I try to work on it a bit more often than other things.  All that's left is background.

What Does It Say?

All the character is done, meaning that all that's left is background and border.  Yay!  Maybe I can get it done soon.  I have no idea what that character at the bottom says.  I -think- it's supposed to say courage, but who knows?

More Backgrounding

It's almost to the point that background is all that's left.

Straight Across

The background is caught up to the design and I am about five rows from the last page.  Yay!

Plod, Plod, Plod

I -know- I'm making progress; I just feel like I should be going faster!

Line

Still making a little progress, if not much.  More red, of course, and done with one more line of the character.

Still Backgrounding

I'm stuck on red for a while longer.  It's slow going, and especially moreso emotionally as I'm so close to the end.

Wishing....

I am so wishing this were done.  I know it's close, as those bottom stitches are within three or four rows of the end, but it's not close enough!

Half A Character

I've got half my "courage" character done now.  If that's really what it says.  Progress is slow but steady.

Still Filling In

I'm almost to the point of being done with filling in the background for the moment.  It's caught up with the other items, so it's going to be back to doing the motif.

Only The Second

Somewhat surprisingly, I am only on my second skein of the main red background color.  It seems like so much more!  I know I'm getting closer, but the end seems so far away.

Backgrounding

I've been filling out the background this time.  It's coming along, and I feel like I'm making progress.  It could be that I'm stitching the last parts of rows, so I can tick them off the "to do" part.

Seeing Red

I'm not getting into a rage about this, but I am pretty bored...

Sometimes...

...I get tired of confetti stitches; especially when it's one stitch in a certain color for twenty or more rows.  There's a lot of that in this piece.  On the other hand, it's mostly done!
