24 for 2024 #16: Star Spangled Samplings by Ilse Altherr

Instead of red, white, and blue, I decided to do this in Ukrainian colors.

 

All Sewn Up

This is all done and ready to send to Betsy. I hope she likes the finished product.

 

By the Motor

Working on the motor shaft side of the sewing machine now.

 

Down to the Bottom

I am all the way down to the bottom on the left side. This means I'm almost done.

 

Threaded

The machine's needle is threaded now. I am officially over halfway done.

 

Top Half

Top half of the sewing machine is done. I should get this finished soon.

 

One More Big Word

Only got to finish one more big word this time.

 

Across the Top of The Machine

Just about ready to get to the sewing machine's wheel in words. Progress.

 

Little Arabian Snowflake

This snowflake looks like it's from Arabia with all the little stylized swirls.

 

Scissors and Needles Now

Almost all the way across the top of the sewing machine now.

 

Five Words

Five words done, many to go. Some of these are the big ones, though, so you can see the front of the sewing machine.

Not Lopsided

This one was also a neglected project that is now DONE. I don't know how Andreas managed to make it look lopsided.

 

Long Time Coming

I had been carrying this around as my purse project forever, but it's done and made into a bright ornament now. Brighter than the photo. Andreas got the color balance off.

 

Finished From My Purse

I had been carrying this around in my purse for over a year before I pulled it out and finished in a couple of weeks ago. It will be a diamond shaped ornament soon.

 

Blackwork Ornament

One of my first finishes of 2023. I am hoping to get more things to a final stage this year. This one's going in my ornaments to give away box.

 

Thought There Was More To Do

I had been carrying this in my purse as a take out project when needed, but I had already finished it. So it's turning into an ornament.

 

Put The Scissors In

This scissor pocket was waiting at least three years to get done. And now it is! Didn't take too long, either.

This has been ready to put together for the past few years. I finally did it the other week. Came out okay for my first attempt at this.
