Lots More Flag

This has been my daily project since the middle of April. I've made a lot of progress.

Capri Perfume

Capri has its own perfume manufactory called Carthusia. It smells wonderful. Because we were with someone who was on a mission, I was not able to stop and browse at the time. Luckily, they had a place at the airport, and I did. I got a very nice citrus scent that makes me think of spring.

Still Housing

Working on the third garden as it slowly comes to life.

Winter Dinner At Renaissance

This top photo is not ice cream - it's a very delicious spreadable cheese. The rest of the food is always just as good at Renaissance. For fifteen euro, it's all you can eat plus wine and raki. When we went in January, there was a most delicious veal stew that we didn't get a photo of. This is Andreas' favorite restaurant in Kosovo, and with good reason.

One Petal

I've got a lot of work to do on one of the three large flowers in this piece. But it's coming along pretty well.

Halfway Point

Yay, I'm at the halfway point! I can get this done!

Naples Yarn

While walking to the boneyard from our apartment, I spotted a shop that said Merceria. I went inside and was treated very nicely, even with the language difficulties. Found these nice cotton yarns. They're mine now.

In From The Snow

It was hard to pull the Sharr in from the snow, but after a couple hours she did come inside. Then she went out again. Winter is her favorite time of year.

Culinary Backstreets Souvenirs

Early this month we were in Naples and took the Culinary Backstreets tour. It was interesting, and the franchisee for Italy was one of our guides. He wrote the book above. One of  the stops was the sign maker who makes all the produce signs for the street markets. He did my name.

Garden Sampler Done

I am pretty stingy with thread, but this kit didn't have enough. Even substituting four of my own colors, it was short. Not good. On the other hand, it's done and ready to turn into a cushion.

More Snow

Mattie enjoyed another day of snow and wallowed in it. We had over a foot.

Started Last Tree

Yay, the fourth tree is started! I'm progressing!

Three Flowers

Three flowers done on this and two to go. It's coming along, but slowly.

Mattie In Snow

Someone liked being out in the snow this January. She stayed and became a snow sharr.

Jodyri March

Spring toned thread and fabric. And almost stitch maynia time. Time to start making.

More Red And Blue

Red and blue and red and blue. All I do is red and blue. But it's becoming more and more done as I do.

Silver Added

Silver gilt is added, and all that's left are the beads, but the spinner has not been kind to this.

Ink Circles Stash

I gave in and bought a bunch of charts from the Ink Circles website. Many of them will be going into my stitch maynia next month.

Dinner For Two In Amsterdam

We were out alone in Amsterdam for dinner, just looking around, and stumbled on this pizza joint near the Rejksmuseum. The food was good, if overpriced. Service was not the best. Plus, what is it with mustard on carpaccio? Really?

Bits Of Brown

The right side was looking a bit down, so I added some stitches to it.

Another Gift Done

This one I made into a box top. I do need to figure out how to take pencil marks off fabric, but other than that, it's all good.

April Done

April's done on this, so it's put away until next month.

Amsterdam Ferry Ride

We went out the day after Christmas, to do something that is a bit of a Dutch tradition. We rode a pancake boat. But first, we had to get there by ferry. Here are some photos from the ferry. Yes, it was a dismal day, but we still had fun.
