Bits Of Brown

The right side was looking a bit down, so I added some stitches to it.

Another Gift Done

This one I made into a box top. I do need to figure out how to take pencil marks off fabric, but other than that, it's all good.

April Done

April's done on this, so it's put away until next month.

Amsterdam Ferry Ride

We went out the day after Christmas, to do something that is a bit of a Dutch tradition. We rode a pancake boat. But first, we had to get there by ferry. Here are some photos from the ferry. Yes, it was a dismal day, but we still had fun.

All Across

I made it all the way across the top and counted it several times to make sure. Now to something a bit less boring on it.

Almost Samplered

I have very little left to stitch on this piece, and I will work on it every day until it's done.

Floss and fabric from Fiberlicious for March. Not at all sure what I am going to do with the bubble gum pink.

Perfect Cranberry Bread

It's not every day that I make a perfectly baked loaf, but I did for Christmas day. Go me!

Afghan Finish

This afghan was made for my boss' baby daughter. It took a while for some reason.

Possum Start

The possum is well started now. I'm almost halfway done, yay! I think this will look pretty cute.

Carpaccio And Butter

Not sure why they served butter with the carpaccio; I skipped it. The rest was very good.

This gift has now been delivered, as I finished it into the hoop just before going to Naples.

Four Eyes

Some of the sixth square is started, but the major work is still on the fifth. Just about done with it, too.

Hotel Restaurant - Grissini

While in Cologne, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency. I had a lot of points, so we used them for reduced rates and for access to the executive lounge. One of the very rainy days we decided to eat at one of the hotel restaurants, Grissini. The restaurant was a true disappointment. The meat and cheese tray looked nothing like its photo, and the rest of the food was bland, overcooked, and our dishes tasted the same.  Even with completely different meats, our sauces were the same. That's lame.

Lots Of Body

This is maybe halfway done at this point. Most of the bird is done, but there's a branch and a couple of leaves to make.

Belling Along

Three bells done on the second corner, but there are still ribbons and pine boughs to do.

Circled Birds

All ready to hang now - my first cozyblue finish. Andreas loves it, so it's going in our home.

Fish In Cologne

We went to the Cologne zoo and aquarium when we were there in December. They had red pandas! They also had a lot of fish.

Finished Up

Another of Kathy Rees' Double Delights completed. The rickrack loop looks good with it.

Dragonfly wings are here, and it's looking like an egg, too.

All of this is outlined. There's a silver special stitch to add and then the beads.

Airport Breakfast

Breakfast at a roadside stop on our way to Cologne from Amsterdam.

Three Eyes

Three eyes on this square started. The second row is well begun.

Mattie And Grayson

Mattie and Grayson interact fairly well. Mattie is certainly the boss, though Grayson tries to get her to play with him.

Two Flowers

Two flowers done for this little bit, plus a bit of an angle.

Dinner At Fiorentina

This was a rare Friday dinner alone for the two of us. We ate and it was very good, and we went to the airport the next day to go to Amsterdam.

Both Sides Squiggled

Now that both sides are squiggled, it's time to work on the maze again.

Ipsy March

I like the bag this month came in. I'll be keeping it. Plus new things to try.

Bunch Of Flowers

There aren't many more flowers to go now. I feel like I can finish this soon.

Peja Walking Street

Walking around Peja after lunch. Peja's got a lot to look at, including the mountains.
