Era Lunch

I finally got Bashkim to Era. He loved it. The owner was very hospitable and we had a wonderful set lunch. I couldn't eat all my portion, so Bashkim and Burim did for me.

Looks Ecclesiastical

To me, this looks like it belongs in a medieval manuscript right now. It's not just the design, but the color. I like it.

The left column is coming along with blue bits; there's a bit more to do before starting an animal.

He put himself in there. We didn't do it. I guess he was just melancholy that day.

A nice lunch on a weekend with my dear. We haven't had a lot of time together this month, as he's working eighty hour weeks.

Flake Framed

Snowflake A Session

I'm getting a snowflake and a bit done every session. Not bad, considering  they're big snowflakes. They show up much better in person.

Letter By Letter

I seem to get only one letter done per session. They're huge, and with a lot of back stitching.

Caged Grayson

Grayson is in his play pen. The play pen is on its side. He put it there. Grayson used this place as a refuge and we also put him in there to calm when he got too wild. He would also roll it across the room to play or to get somewhere for pets.

Betrayal At House On The Hill

We played regular Betrayal with our friend Kerry over Memorial Day weekend in Montenegro. So we have our own copy of the legacy version of it now, and have people to play it with.

Halfway Round, Finally

This is halfway done, across the table topper. Yay. I hope to finish it soon.

Grayson Gets Ice Cream

Kosovo doesn't have a McDonalds, but we do have Burger King with drive through! Turns out Grayson loves ice cream as much as Mattie does.

Bannered

This has been my daily stitch for a bit, and there's significant progress. I have finished the banner, bar beading, and am now working on the rest. Maybe it'll get done some day.

Kosovo Buffalo

Prior to the war, there were more than 50k water buffalo in Kosovo. Now, there's one herd owned by Drenas Dairy. They sell buffalo milk and buffalo milk cheese, but not mozzarella. I think that's a mistake, as there's definitely a market for it here, but it is what it is. The cows are a bit skittish, but aren't they full of personality?

Winding Down

Working on getting more of this done. I'm feeling that it's getting close to being done and I have an itch to finish it.

Airport Lunch

We had a bit of a layover at the Vienna airport, so we ate lunch there. It was pretty good, if very expensive for what it was.
