Fiberlicious July

More pretty fabric and thread from Fiberlicious.

This has been my daily stitch for a bit, and there's significant progress. I have finished the banner, bar beading, and am now working on the rest. Maybe it'll get done some day.

Kosovo Buffalo

Prior to the war, there were more than 50k water buffalo in Kosovo. Now, there's one herd owned by Drenas Dairy. They sell buffalo milk and buffalo milk cheese, but not mozzarella. I think that's a mistake, as there's definitely a market for it here, but it is what it is. The cows are a bit skittish, but aren't they full of personality?

Winding Down

Working on getting more of this done. I'm feeling that it's getting close to being done and I have an itch to finish it.

July Zenpop

I love the little sumo marker post its! The other stuff is pretty cool too. A sandalwood scented dual pen? Nice. The cute notes. Yep. All good.

Puppies Welcoming Spring

Back in April, Grayson and Mattie enjoying the sun - and Grayson enjoying climbing on Mattie.

Four Scythes

Still more work to do on this square, but at least all four scythe handles and the middle are done.

Redditgifts DIY Gift

I did the redditgifts DIY exchange, and was pretty disappointed with this book that did not meet minimum expenditure and was just blah.

Airport Lunch

We had a bit of a layover at the Vienna airport, so we ate lunch there. It was pretty good, if very expensive for what it was.

Garden And Window

Working on the last garden set. It's getting to be a lot closer to being done, as this is actually part eight of twelve.

Big Alphabet Started

The big alphabet is started. I think it takes about a full cycle to do a letter. Lots of letters to do...

Another Andreas Prime Day find.

Pretty Pastries

Pretty pastries wrapped with care from the shop down the street from apartment. It's an unboxing sequence! They tasted good too.

Rounding The Bend

Working on the sprays of greenery now on the third corner. Well over halfway done!

There's A Coast

I have part of a coastline now. Unfortunately, it hasn't been spun since the beginning of the month.

Kosovo Jalapeno

A little taste of home  grown in Kosovo. The jalapenos are pickled in the American manner and are totally authentic.

Prosecco Welcome

We toasted our arrival in Naples with prosecco.

August Finished

August is done. Yay! I like how this is looking.

New Box

Got my dragons box from Stitchy Box. I will be opening this eventually. I am so far behind.

Random Naples

A couple of random street photos in Naples. One thing I didn't get used to in Naples is the constant crowding.

Monday, August 12, 2019

Column bits are getting filled in now that I've corrected my big mistake. Slow going though because the spinner isn't picking it often.

Grayson Outdoors

Grayson on a nice late March day outside and annoying Mattie.

Naples Fortress

We found this castle when we went to the ferry port. Evidently, it's not part of the municipal offices. Kind of impressive, but lots of construction going on around it.

Turquoising Around

I'm over halfway done with this part. It feels good to have so much progress.

Capri Church

We walked by and went into this pretty church on the street in Capri. All those arches.

To The Right

Working on the fourth side's cross stitches now. The other three sides are done! I've also started doing some of the backstitching on the same side instead of having to move my q-snaps while stitching.

The fourth house has a tree now, and a lot more architecture done.

Italian Meat

The assortment of smoked pork products in Naples was almost overwhelming after Pristina.

Needlepoint To Start

I don't know, maybe I can stitch this on the plane for home leave? I love the colors and want to start immediately, but I am exceedingly busy lately.
