25 for 2025 #1: Christmas Ball with Bird by Coricamo

The fabric in the kit was aida, so I tossed it and started on this yellow linen. It will come out as a daily project soonish.

 

Oranges and Reds

Lots of back to do, so I am doing oranges and reds now.

 

Lots of Tail to Do

I am working on the tail right now. It's the most colorful bit, so it's interesting. Most of the rest of the piece is tail.

 

Garden in Gutter Lane Kit

The class has started but I've been too busy to start, too. I am also going to have to completely change the goldwork part because I don't like the idea of a great big needle through the piece.

 

Adorable Face

Mr. Panda's face is done, and he's adorable.

 

Close to Done

My little garden is almost totally blooming now.

 

Bit of Mouth

Little red panda has a bit of mouth now and a bit more back, too. He's getting a personality.

 

Almost Invisible

You can't really see the work I've been doing, but it's there. The stems and leaf veins are beginning to take shape. Lots left to do. It's getting worked on, at least.

 

Wing Spots

Spots on the wings are here now. Lots of wing left to do, though.

 

Working on the Red

Putting the red in the panda.

Gift from Andreas

I believe he thinks I am not going to be busy enough while he's in Ukraine. It's a pretty pattern and I will try to complete it while he's gone. Thank you dear.

 

Little Bit of Back

Worked a bit more on the panda's face and back. It's getting there. Slowly, but progress.

Bought this at Tara's request. Now to find time to start it.

 

Mostly Outlined

Most of the bird is actually done; time to work on the flower border.

 

Cute Little Face

Added more bits of the red panda. His face looks so cute now.

 

Time for the Middle Frog

The little blue frog in the middle is started, with some white on the head. No blue yet.

 

One Little Ornament Done

This was buried for a while, but I pulled it out for a quick finish. Yay!

 

Outlining the Bird

Lots of outlining left to do on the bird, but it'll be done soon.

 

All Faced On

My little panda has a face! And I got to see real red pandas today. Wins all around.
