Cozy Blue November

I think I am going to take this and the October one with me when we leave for Christmas. Maybe then I'll get it stitched!

Poled

The strong diagonal line of the flagpole has fallen into place.

Tiny Flowers

Lots of tiny flowers being filled in. I'm getting to the point where I'm going to have to do that giant stem in the middle soon. I have some ideas.

Stari Kuca Restaurant

We were told to go to this restaurant by a friend from North Carolina who gets around to all kinds of odd places. He was right, Stari Kuca (Old House) restaurant in Skopje was wonderful. The food was good. Andreas' hamburger was humongous. The staff was friendlly and attentive even while setting up for a tour group. They even have live music late in the evening. We'll be back.

Forgive Quickly Done

It's done! This one is for us. Now it's time to finish it into a door knocker.

Ipsy October

Ipsy came in October and brought me these beauties.

Three Cabanas

The top parts of three cabanas are done.

Rainy Day Food And Magic

The day was rainy in Skopje, so we fetched our Magic cards and hopped over to a cafe. There, we had lunch and played for a few hours as the rain came down. The waiters were obviously amused and the food was delicious.

Finally Finished

This has been waiting for a little bit of work to complete for a while, so I sat down and did it. Two pieces ready for whatever!

Counting Down On Two

The second block is so very close to being finished! I've even started on my third.  But the spinner has stopped picking this for a bit.

Breakfast Omelettes

Our ship-hotel in Skopje included free breakfast. They made omelettes. The dishes were even ship shaped. Kind of weird, but okay omelettes.

Tree Has Roots

The tree has roots and I like how they're coming out. I even got to start some Algerian eyelet stitches on the left. Lots to go on those.

October Glossybox

I'm currently wearing the hair tie, and the other things are waiting to be used. Soon, especially as I've run out of Neutrogena day cream. Time to try some new ones.

Working On Windows

This photo looks a bit washed out, but it does show my progress. I'm almost done with both side gardens of the first house, and I've started the windows on the second. Yay!

Skopje Irish Pub

We ate food at an Irish pub on the river in Skopje. Being us, we ordered way too much in an effort to try new things. Unfortunately, the reality didn't measure up to the menu. Although items were advertized as being from different cuisines, they were merely relabeled Balkan staples. We deliberately avoided this restaurant afterwards.

Lots Of French Knots

The orange looks a bit less bright in person, for some reason. But I've got part of the tail done now. That little section was all french knots.

On To A Middle

I'm now working on one of the four middle bells. This tablecloth is getting done pretty quickly.

My Advent Calendar

My advent calendar arrived! Now I have to wait until December first.

Embassy Apple Cake

Apple cake made for embassy folk by the cafeteria. They even serve it a la mode. Tastes pretty good.

Nice Crystal Center

I am finished with my Heart of Gold! Instead of an initial in the middle, I used a swarovski crystal. I think it came out pretty good!

Got Glass?

My glass haul from the glass factory!

Beginning To Experiment

I've been experimenting with the color on this; now I'm branching out to try new stitches. I have the second tier done now and am working on the third.

Chillin' Sharr

Just a few photos of Mattie guarding the smoker on the back porch this past summer.

New Daily

This is the new daily stitch. It won't take long, as I've done it a few times before.

Blown

It was definitely not as hands on as i would have liked, but when we visited the glass factory, we were allowed to blow some ornaments.

Cupping

About half done, and the cup is all shaped out. Just needs a little bit of filling.

Rain On The Lake

Batllava lake in the rain.

A Flute

We saw these beautiful champagne flutes while at the glass factory. They came home with us. We managed  to fit all six in the suitcase.

Jamming To The Bottom

Outside of the beads, there isn't much left to do on this. The spinner hasn't been nice to it, however. It hasn't been spun all week.

Back To Adriatiku

We went back to Adriatiku with some friends on a fine day in September. The food was good, well presented, and plentiful. We got rained on a bit (true downpours), but stayed under the awning playing Zombie dice.
