Stitch Maynia #9 - Blackwork Hearts

No black on this piece, but I started with what I had on hand - silk mill floss and fiberlicious fabric.  Now to just finish it.

Chapter Meeting Stitchalong

I have started Caron Collection's freebie Winter Snowflakes.  It's a stitchalong for our chapter meeting.  Yes, I know my colors aren't particularly wintry.  It's what happens when you stitch from stash.

First Border

My fleur-de-lis has its first border done.  It was rather hard to do in a dim hotel room with dark canvas and floss, so most of it had to wait until I got back to Angola.

Festive Square

This square is the latest Little Extra for my CyberStitchers chapter.  Now I need to write it up for them.

Chapter Project

I kind of do a service for my EGA chapter where I find small free designs and interpret them, with photos, step by step.  The January meeting project is Geometric II by Northern Pine designs.  It's a fairly simple canvaswork project.  Of course, I changed the colors.  Here's part of it done.

January Heart

Every year in January, my local EGA chapter (Pocono Mountain) does a heart project. This year was no different, and I had signed up and paid for it before I found out about the 10 project challenge so... i ended up starting it Monday night. It's sideways. Don't blame my husband, I didn't tell him which side was up! The light pink is the widest point of the heart, so it should be a quick finish. It's just a really simple cross stitch piece.
