Finally All Forted Up

Yay, two milestones on this!  First, my Neon Rays Plus came so I could finish the Fort Worth.  Second, the border is done.  Celebration all around.

All Berried Up

This came up on the rotation a day after I blogged it, and I just decided to complete it. I did! I love the way the threads laid so well and the design's one I like. All the stitching's done; now I need to make it into a needle case. Hurray, another finish!

Left Side Done

One of the things I like about crewel is that it progresses so quickly. I've already completed the left side of the needle case and there really isn't all that much left to do on the right. I'm thinking that next time I take it out, I'll just complete it. I love the way it's turning out.

Leafing Out

I stitched both leaves on the left this week; this project goes so quickly and every time I work on it, I feel I've accomplished something. Especially working with the Gumnuts, it's a pleasure to be crewel. I didn't like it nearly as much before I discovered this yarn.

Back in the Lineup

I started this at EGA Seminar last autumn. I love it, and I'm so happy to have it back in my rotation. The piece is called Berries for You and it's by Barbara Jackson. The fibers are Gumnuts, and they feel soooo good. This week, I did the stems on the left and finished the flower top on left, too. Since I'm back to working on it, it shouldn't take much time to finish it.

Berries for Me!

This was my Wednesday class at Seminar. It's called Berries for You! and is a design by Barbara Jackson. I got fairly far in class and she kept telling me I was doing well. Since she told some others it might be a good idea to do some frogging, I guess I really was doing well. The design is pretty and we're using Heathway and Gumnuts yarns on it. This should be a fairly quick finish when it gets into my rotation. I'm looking forward to working more on it.
