Brown Bands

Working on the brown argyle bands for the top part. They're a lot of stitching, so you'll see me working on them for a while.

 

Insides Stitched

All the major backstitching and special stitches are done. It's time to start the beading.

 

Working on the Wing

I have pretty much the width of the piece made, but I need to fill in the wing before I can move on to the next set of pages.

 

Now to the Argyle

This brown pattern reminds me of argyle, with the diamonds. I think it's actually tile. But it's coming along a bit. 

 

Backstitching Along

All the big elements are in place; now it's time to backstitch around them.

 

Over to the Peahen

The peahen is finally getting some attention. Lots of dull colors on her, but she's beautiful in her own way.

 

All Fenced Up

Yay, all the fences are done. Time to get some beading on.

 

Over to the Hen

Done with all the colors and working on the peahen for a bit now. Means there's a lot of progress, though.

 

Far on the Right

Those stitches far on the right represent the right edge of the design. I'm inching slowly closer. Of course, there are whole pages below this too.

 

Building Fences

With all the cross stitch done, it's time to do a god awful amount of back stitch. Working on getting all the fences done.

 

More Tailfeathers

I like working on the tailfeathers because they are so much brighter than the rest of the piece. It's almost time to work on the peahen, though.

 

One Fence to Go

Still working on backstitching and specialty stitches. Need to work on the lower right corner.

 

Time for the Tail

Time for some color variety by working on the tail. It's about the only time it happens.

 

Working a Wing

A wing! Lots of green with some purple for the next bit. It's a pretty big wing too.

 

Need More Fences

I've got all the cross stitches done, yay! Now to add more black fences and more back and specialty stitches. Then the last step - beads!

 

Growing the Tail

This tail keeps going downward for another page and a half of chart. And it's coming along.

 

Working on a Wing

It's finally beginning to look like a dragon. The wing is long...

 

Cross Stitched

Finally all the cross stitches are done. On to the specialty stitches and beads.

 

Starting a Wing

The green lines up top are the beginning of a dragon wing. The rest is coming along, at least. There's so very much to go on this.

 

Never Ending Border

Still working on this border; I hope to get it all done soon.
