Big Flower Done

Lots of progress, since I've finished the large flower.

 

On to the Yellows

Order of stitching was not necessarily logical, as it was determined by the day's stitches taught by the tutors. That's why there are random leaves and trellises.

 

Stemmed and Trellises

The order of stitching has been dictated by the order the tutor is teaching us stitches. So lots of stem and chain done, some block shading, and two trellises.

 

Actual Work Starts

Two months into the course, and we finally started stitching! Starting with the stems and branches.

 

Royal School Project

I started the Royal School of Needlework's Certificate and Diploma course in January. We didn't even get stitching until March. This, I designed. I need to get better at design. But it's started. It looks a bit dark in the photo.

 

Midnight Robin Framed

I think I framed this fairly well. Now it just needs to be hung up.

 

Tulipa Collected

For a long time there I thought the bloom would be shaggy, but once it was outlined, it looked MUCH better. Yay! And done.

 

Another Leaf Done

Four out of six leaves done now.

 

Still Leafing It

A few more leaves to go here, but it's getting a bit of love now.

 

Looking a Little Rough

This is going  to be fairly quick to stitch - lots of couching and big stitches.  Starting the couching on the leaves now.

 

Time for Leaves

Started the leaves. These ones are fly stitch.

 

Harbinger of Spring

My little midwinter robin is complete. I think it will be put on my wall.

 

On to the Bird

This is finally going to get finished. I want to keep it when it's done.

 

All Graped Up

It's done and I think it came out pretty well.

 

On to the Big Leaves

Central little leaves done, and now it's time to do the last big elements.

 

Tips of Leaves

Both leaf tips are done, and one of the middle leaves is on the way.

 

On to the Center

Yay, a new color and a new bit to do. Time for these center leaves. Things are going on well at this point.

 

Pink Leafed

Pink leaves are now done and it's time to do the middle blueish ones.

 

Pinking Leaves

Getting close to having the pink leaves done.

 

On to the Fourth Set

Right on half the leaves done. Slowly making progress.
