Not Quite
I am so close to finishing off this part - I just need to complete the last square. Then I get more squares! At most, I have ten more parts to go. I'll definitely get it done in time.

Near the End
I am truly near the end of this piece. It'll be turned into a Christmas ornament when it's done, and I hope to have it done this week.

On the Outer Edge
I am now officially on the outer rim of the design! Yay, almost done with the skeleton and I can get to the fun part.
More Flowers, More Bricks
The outer part got some background done this week, and more of the black outlines of brick too. And, of course, I did some more flowers on the inner area. I'll have to move to the bottom half on the flowers next time. Progress, yes?

Couple More Squares
I've got a couple more squares done on this set. This set goes all the way to part 51 of 60, so I'm almost there, I'm almost there, I'm almost there...

Started Planting
This week I got to do something different - I got to start the plant framing the door. I also did more of the building, of course, but it was nice to start something new on this.

I've finished part fifteen now, and the point is complete. Now on to another part of the German Group Mystery!

Some More Red, Some More Black
The background got extended some again, as did the salamander (or dragon) itself. I feel like I'm going soooo slowly on this.

Gated
Another building done - this time the one I think of as the town gate. I'll be done with the tower next to it when I work on it again. For some reason, this side seems to be going faster than the last one did. It could be because I'm working on individual buildings instead of across them all at once.
Connecting Up
This week I managed to get the edge of the skirt and the edge of the sash to meet. Yay! It means I counted right. Now on to finishing them both off...

Last Stretch of this Set
I'm getting close to finishing this set of seven more parts on the mandala. Definitely making progress on the whole thing.

Eye of the Jelly
The fourth jellyfish has a lot of work in the bottom of the bell. Right now, it looks like an eye. It's at least getting done!

Piece Missing
It really shows that there's just a wedge missing from this. It's almost done! The over one part has been somewhat of a challenge. I've had to use a quilting between needle to do it.

Beautiful Needlebook
Thank you Lynn! I love this exchange needlebook from Lynn through the BBI Yahoogroup. It's lovely stitching and so well put together. She also sent me some really cute ladybug beads and a couple of skeins of Hand Dyed Fibers silks. Thank you so much, and I'm sorry the postal system had such a hard time getting it here.

Riding the Wave
I am getting on with the second rectangle. Can't start a third until I've got the top row done, and I'm a bit over halfway to that. Maybe I'll have the stitching done by the end of the year or earlier at this rate. Only a bit more than two and a half more rectangles to go.
Getting to the Point
I'm on the end of the third row of parts, and in this one I get to add the third point to the pattern. I'm almost there, and this part's even halfway done!

Quakerchen Done
It's done, and I really like it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this yet, but I'm happy I have it done.

Pirouette's Done!
I finished stitching my Pirouette in Purple from Sweetheart Tree! I like how it turned out, and I think it'll make a darling pinkeep ornament.

Another Block Back
Not only did I get my Asian block back, in the same mailbag I got my Bees, Butterflies and Beetles block, too! Here it is in the condition I sent it out in January. I had lots of butterflies on the block and lots of color.
And here it is how I got it back. I'm really happy with it - it's gorgeous. So many pretty bugs and flowers! Thank you ladies!

It's Beautiful and It's Home
Back in January I sent this block off as you see it in this picture. It was for the Asian round robin, and I presented a bit of a difference to the others - I didn't pick east Asia. I picked western Asia and asked for an Arabian nights block.
Here it is after I got it back. Isn't it beautiful? I love it! I'm even happy with the belly dancer silkie, although normally I abhor them. It fits with the rest so well. Thank you thank you for doing this block so well! I have another that is Arabian, and I think I'm going to put them into a wall hanging together. Thank you so much for the lovely block!

Three Quarters
A few more squares. I'm closing in on finishing this set. Looking at it in a whole picture, which I don't tend to do when stitching, I see I'm almost 3/4 done. Maybe I really will finish it in time.

Close
I don't know why this particular picture turned out more turquoise, but it did. Anyway... I'm on the bottom motifs of the piece! It's close.

A Different Kind of Celtic Block
This is Wendy's Celtic round robin block and I believe it was the hardest ever round robin block for me to work on. Although the theme was Celtic, the colors just did not inspire me at all in that direction. I felt like I should put on something African or such. Anyway, I stared at it and stared at in and looked and looked at Celtic designs for inspiration. I finally found a little bit.
Here it is after my work on it. I added a big seam with beads and trim, a bird and a dragon. I also did a less big seam with gold rectangular beads. The bird was based on one from Aon Celtic, and the rest was in my stash. I did it in yellow to show up well on the purple. It's still not saying Celtic to me, but I hope it's what Wendy likes.

Little Houses
I did some of the backstitch thing and also did more cross stitch on the fifth part. There is now a complete little house in the corner.
Next to Last
I finished the next to last section of Quakerchen and am almost done. It's really turning out beautifully. I'm thinking of making it into a pinkeep.

With all the cross stitches done, it's time for outlining. I got some of it done, and it really makes the vines pop out. Almost done!

Started a New Set
I've started a new set of squares. Must mean I'm making progress, right? They're giving them to me seven squares at a time now. It's almost overwhelming, but I -am- getting there.

One Plus
One part and started on the second done on Fiori. There are only four parts, and I'm getting a bit more done on it. It'll be a little Christmas ornament when I'm done, but in the meantime, it's just a cute little over one piece.

Some Green, Some Peach
I finished the inside of the large shutter this week, and also added more apricot to the building side. Next week I get to do some other colors because I'll be starting on a flower pot and a bush!

Yet Another Building...
... is done. I'm still less than halfway across the area, but I think I'm going faster on this one than I did on the first side.
Getting to the Bottom
I am finally almost done with the skirt. More and more areas are bumped in to the banner area and done with it, so I should be done with it soon.
