Cycling Off

Yup, another finish this week! I completed Bibendum. My husband's really happy with how he looks, and already has started the framing process. He's got the board to lace it on and order its mats. That makes me feel good.

Nearly Round

The back wheel is nearly complete. I was debating this last week on whether to just finish, but decided not to. I'm getting close to that point, though.

Playing Footie

Yup, Bibe's got a foot now. It's to the point where all I have left is very little. Maybe this week I'll just finish him when he comes up in the rotation.

Foot and Tire

This week I did a bit of the foot and some more of the front tire. I'm at the anxious point where I can tell it's nearly done, but it's not close enough to get done in a day or so- which is my criterion for sitting and just finishing something.

Re-Tired

The tires are getting round now, and the piece is getting closer to its completion! I'll have it done, perhaps, by the end of the summer.

Biking Off

Bibendum's bike and leg both got some work this past week. His bike, outside of the tires, is done, and his leg's got just the foot to add. I'm getting close to completion.

Getting Tire-d

Bibendum was one of the pieces I got to work on twice this past week. For some reason I stitched more on things. I got through my whole rotation plus again about half. Anyway, he's got both tires started now and the end is beginning to get obvious.

Kneed a Lift?

Bibendum's knee is done and I'm getting closer to finishing. Next to start are the tires. They're pretty big, and are the most that's left for stitching.

Belly Done

The only part of Bibendum himself left to do is his leg. All the bigger parts - done! I also worked on the bike some this week. It's coming along.

Still Whiting Him Out

Yup, Bibendum's becoming more white, as he should be. I also did some more outlining on his leg. There's not all that much more of the big guy himself to do, but there's almost the whole bike, including both wheels.

Bibendum's Got Bike

Yup, this week I started Bibebdum's bike. He's going to be styling away soon, and I'm soon to be done. I'm guessing he'll be complete by Labor Day.

Still More Belly

I'm almost done with the widest part of Bibendum! Probably my next work on him will be finishing the belly and starting work on the bicycle. Yay, back to a third color in the mix! I'm over halfway done, too.

I've Got Two Hands...

Bibendum's got both his hands now. Soon I'll be starting his bicycle. I still think he looks cute.

It's raining here in Varna this morning. We got here yesterday evening and it was overcast and cloudy. Maybe it'll clear up by this afternoon. I hope so - Varna is a seaside resort, and it's definitely better viewed in the sunlight.

Getting a Leg Up (or Down)

Bibi's coming along. This week I did some white again and black. The black line going down is the front of Bibendum's leg on the bicycle. I'm definitely over halfway on him now, and the big white guy's end is in sight.

A Few More Lines

I added a few more lines to Bibendum last week. It was a full two lengths of thread, but he's fat! I'm definitely halfway done with him now, and next time I work on him, you'll see some outline leading to his bicycle.

It's another chilly day here in Pristina. At least it's not outright snowing, but the sky's gray and cloudy.

Back to Bibi

Yup, a lot of white back and forth, back and forth. He's coming along, though.

Could Lose a Little Weight...

Bibendum's showing his rotundity now. The black outlines are about to the point where the bike starts, and I'm approximately at the halfway point now. He's still cute.

Waves of White

Okay, so the picture looks a bit yellow, but I promise it's white. I did a lot of white back and forth this week. It's something I have to get used to with Mr. Michelin, but he still looks cute.

Head and Shoulders...

but no knees or toes yet. I've gotten Bibendum's head and shoulders done. The whole piece is now approximately halfway done. He's still a really easy stitch and a good companion.

Armed and Frivolous

Bibendum has a whole arm now. He's coming along pretty easily, since it's been mainly filling in white areas already outlined.
