Decided to experiment with a pattern. Not the best, not the worst.

This piece is brighter than in the photo. It's a true chartreuse with pink/purple squares. I think it came out pretty well.

Karen is going to Mauritania. I thought she would appreciate something cheerful, so I made this for her to take with her.

This was my first use of the threads Andreas' parents sent me. They do temari well. This has already been gifted to someone who loves balls. I will be making more.

 

Tiny Temari

My students wanted to learn how to make tiny temari, so these are the first four I made. The largest is less than two centimeters in diameter. They're a bit hard to do that small!

Teaching Finish

I taught this temari at Mundesia. They mainly did pretty well at it.

I used this temari as a model to teach my students in Mitrovica how to mark temari and make kikus. They were pretty successful.
