Butterfly Done

I accomplished getting the butterfly done now.  I'm almost done with the top tier.

Dinner At London Clinic

I decided on soup and sandwich along with my usual hummus and veg.  The soup was nice and tomato-y and the sandwich was huge!

A Blackwork Finish!

This became the daily project for a bit, and in less than a week it was done.  I like the color choices I made, but now I don't know what I am going to do with this.

Water Feature

The little lake in the rose garden was teeming with life, and the animals were out to play in the misty morning.  I also liked the eagle sculpture.

Narrowing The Belly

I think I've crossed a bridge now - the dragon is getting a bit less rotund again.  There are a bunch of partial stitches in this though!  Soon I'll be out of this belt and the partial stitches minimize again.

More Of The Rose Garden

Even the fencing is lovely in this garden.  The paths are so straight and even, too.  Not to mention the water feature... on a dreary day it was still a sight to see.

Half A Turquoise

This is coming along a bit.  I still have a ways to go on the intermediate area, but so far, it's looking even more pop art-y.

Regent's Park Rose Garden

Regent's Park has a lot of things, including a rose garden and a zoo.  I walked through the rose garden; the gardeners were attending to it even in the light rain, and the place was awesomely beautiful.

Creeping By A Skull

Done with the top row, so it's time to start working on the motifs!  First motif is a bunch of skulls.

Rainy Regent's Park

Another walk around out of the hospital - this time I visited Regent's Park, which is only a couple of blocks away from The London Clinic.  There was a pretty constant drizzle, but I got to pet some dogs and see more sights.

Third Curve

I now have a third curve!  And some bits on the right.  Making some progress on all this swirl.

Hospital Flowers

I found these flowers at Sainsbury's and brought them back to my hospital room.  The clinic even provided a vase!

Temari for Julia

Julia, her husband, and her daughter are on their way to Japan.  I made a temari in the colors of the Japanese flag for Julia.  I think it came out pretty nice.

Temari for Annie

This temari, in the colors of the Kosovo flag, came out so cheery!  I like the design I made up and the recipient does too.  She is moving to Japan with her parents, so she may see more of these.

Out Of Hospital In Hospital Food

I decided to do dinner after my big outing riding the bus around London.  There was a pub just around the corner from The London Clinic, so I stopped by there for a Sunday roast.  It was tasty.

Both Flowers Done

Yay, both flowers are done!  Now on to the leaves.

From Workers to Ferraris

Still on the same bus ride while in hospital.  I got to see birds on this worker statue on the back side of the Tower of London.  They wanted to balance his hammer.  We wound past Westminster (again) and through Grosvenor.  There, one of the hotels had a bunch of exotic cars owned by guests parked on its side.

On To The Fourth

Working on the fourth motif now.  I am getting close to finishing this!

More In Hospital Touring

The bus took me past St. Paul's Cathedral on on past the place that was the center of the great fire of 1666.  Then more bridges, including London Bridge.
