Rainy Saturday Lunch
I posted on facebook when we were at this restaurant. The music was a woman's soft jazz cover album where she covered songs from Black Sabbath, The Ramones, The Rolling Stones, and so on. NONE fit her voice or style, so it was torture. That's too bad, because the food was good and fresh. Everything was made in house and tasted good. Might go back again, as it's next door to the Italian grocery store, but we'll check what's playing music-wise first.

Off To Gresa
The other Friday we went to Princesa Gresa, a restaurant in downtown Pristina. It doesn't specialize in anything, going from pizza to fancy entrees, but it's good. I had a gin and tonic, some carrot and ginger soup, carpaccio, and a steak salad. Andreas had soup, a greek salad, and chicken fingers. All were good and well presented.

Good Steak In Pristina
The steakhouse to go to in Pristina is Fiorentina's. We went there last month, and I must admit it was good. So was the service. One of the waiters noticed Andreas' steak was a bit overcooked and offered to cook a new one for him. He declined; it was medium instead of medium rare, but that's service! My only complaint was the price of the wine. It was 20 euros above the price on the menu. Other than that, we'll go back. And I'll ask the price of the wine when I order it.

Traditional Albanian Food
We allowed the waiters at Liburnia here in Pristina order for us. Liburnia is a traditional Albanian restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. We had grilled mushrooms, pogache, peppers in cream, salad, meat, and a bunch of other stuff. Despite, between three of us, eating less than half, we were stuffed.

McDonald's Austria
They allow dogs in the store! While we were there, a couple came in with their owners for snacks. They were well behaved and didn't cause a fuss. We ate a quick lunch while we were between Christmas markets. Andreas had a chicken sandwich and I had quarter pounder. The buns taste better and the food looks much nicer than in American McDonald's.
