Cottaging

Making a bunch of progress, as I am halfway done with the last panel.  Going to get this done!

Romer Pils Brunnen

We had dinner with Dima at Romer Pils Brunnen, in the old city.  Dinner was good, if pedestrian and expensive.  I splurged on snails.  They didn't quite have enough garlic.  We wouldn't go to this place again because it's very possible to get the same food at the same quality for less at a lot of places in the city.

Stitch Maynia #15 - Seasonal Streets from Shannon Christine

This is a stitchalong offered by Lakeside Needlecraft.  I received all the supplies at the same time I did Buds in Bloom.  Didn't start it until just now, though.

Ordered In - Aroydee

Because both of us were sick, we ordered delivery a -lot- in Frankfurt. One of our favorite places to order from and eat at is Aroydee, a Thai restaurant by the Hauptwache.  The food is always hot and fresh.  Unfortunately they don't deliver Andreas' favorite Thai tea.  My soup felt so good on my throat.

Stitch Maynia #14- Dragonfly Egg

A little Mill Hill kit bought last year.  It's looking pretty cute so far, but trying to bead in a hotel room on a couch was a beast.

Lebanese In Frankfurt

We got to Germany and wandered the shopping area. Had dinner in My Zeil mall at a Lebanese restaurant.  It was not bad, but not great either.  It was, however, very nicely presented.

Stitch Maynia #13 - Rowan Tree

It's big, but at least it's started!  I hope to get back to this soon.

Etno Kuca Lunch

The day before we left, we attended a CLO event that included lunch at Etno Kuca, a Serbian restaurant in Gracanica.  Gracanica is about a ten minute drive from our house.  The food was wonderful!  The top photos are a soup.  It was all of 3 euros and very filling.  Everything tasted fresh and well made.  We will be going back.

Stitch Maynia #12 - Sneek

This is a stitchalong from Long Dog Samplers and SewandSo in England. Not much to look at so far, but it's huge.

Dinner At Matisse

We had dinner at Matisse, an Italian restaurant, just before leaving for Frankfurt. The meat and cheese plate was typical for Kosovo, with a distinct lack of ham.  My mushroom soup was great.  Otherwise the food was fair to middling.

Stitch Maynia #11 - Chaqua

This should be a fairly quick stitch, with the brown and turquoise.  I hope to get more of it done soon.

Liburnia Is Good

The embassy had a group trip to Liburnia Restaurant just before we were off to Frankfurt.  Liburnia makes local food, and they make it GOOD.  I am especially a fan of their mushrooms and cheese, grilled.  The cheese adds a salty bite to the mushrooms.  Food, as usual, was far too plentiful.

Gresa Again

Back at the end of March, we went to Gresa again for dinner.  The carpaccio was very filling because they cut it thick.  Andreas liked his soup and chicken.  I barely touched my chicken because of the carpaccio.
