Forgotten Meal in Czechia

Yes, some things are getting old enough that I don't remember what they were. It looks like it tasted decent, at least. And it was in Brno.

Starting the Alphabet

Beginning the alphabet in the middle while still working on the border.

Warm Food on a Cold Day

We found a very good Asian restaurant while at the Christmas Market in Brno. It was on the main square. Food was fresh and hot and good.

Brno Christmas Lights

Pretty tree and ferris wheel in Brno. Crowded around the tree, though. The market was broken up around the old town, with penny packets of booths in different squares.

Brno Market Crowd

The crowd in Brno last year was huge. Part of it was because there was a Battle of Austerlitz re-enactment going on plus a youth hockey tournament. I'm sure a few were just tourists like us, too.

Quilt Show in Brno

In Brno center, on our way to the Christmas Market, we stumbled on a quilt show. Of course we went in. There were some fantastic quilts, including one made by a Czech astronaut. She quilted part of it in space. It looks like the view from the portholes. This is a very active quilt club. I wish I had one close here in Warsaw.

Brno

We stopped in Brno to go to Christmas markets on our way to Prague. Brno is a very pretty little town.

Lots of Vines

This piece will be almost covered in vines. I'm getting a start on them.

Commemorative March

This march out of the Old Town of Warsaw was in April. They happen fairly often; there are a lot of things to commemorate in a place with as much history as Poland. Poles don't forget.
