Zenpop Stationery June

I am now subscribed to a Japanese stationery box. This is my first one. I gave away the stickers and have been using the mildliners for a work project. Success so far. Will play with the colored mechanical pencil soon.

Beginning Mikros

This is the start of the mini map from my Mysterious Adventure Project by Ink Circles. I'm already behind, but I don't mind.

More Brown

More brown this time. Still have a lot to go.

Lunch Out

A nice little salad at a restaurant in Strpce. Was a good afternoon.

Yarn Sale

The little skeins are from a Lion Brand Yarn sale. I got each package for only two dollars. The white is to go with them as I am planning to make a bright granny square afghan from all these bits.

On To More Stitches

I'm once again plowing ahead on  this piece as I work on the right column. I am looking forward to get more motifs in here.

Arranged

One more piece complete! It feels good to get things done, and it's amazing how much you get done when you stitch on the same thing every day.

Dua's Afghan

An afghan for my boss's baby all finished.

Adding Turquoise

One quarter of the current area is done. This part is going quickly.

Framed Take Good Care

Take good care is ready to be gifted to a friend now. I think it came out pretty well.

Finished Up Some Stems

More stems are finished, which means it's about time to work on another big flower.

Puppy Again

Grayson likes laying on his back. In these photos, he still has a lot of chubby baby look. He's turning into a lean, sleek puppy now, though.

Colour Complements

I love the colors of these. They were on sale, so I snatched some up.

A Tree!

I have a tree and a roof starting to show now.

Red Stripe

I now have a red stripe and the beginnings of a couple of words are showing.

Sushico First Visit

Less than a week after it opened, we went to dinner at Sushico. This is a Turkish restaurant chain that serves Asian food. Most of the cooking staff are Asian. The food is gooood! It's great to have a real Asian restaurant in Pristina. We have been back several times so far.

Christmas Ornaments

Christmas ornaments, Texas style. Fancy Stitches is running a set of ornaments that are Texas themed. I received the first!

More Motifs Done

The one full diamond line is done. That means I'm over halfway done. Go me!

Redo

A lot of the right side column had to be redone because I made a mistake. It's all good now, but a bit of walking things back. At least there's a way forward.

More Puppy Pictures

Photos of Grayson from mid-March. He grew a lot in a couple of weeks, and continues to grow like a weed.

Texas Counties

I soooo want to start this sampler. It's all the Texas counties. I got it from Fancy Stitches in Cleburne, and they mailed it all the way to me here in Kosovo. Now I need to see if I have any stretcher bars big enough and if I can find time. I'm clearing off another needlepoint piece off my stitch maynia list, so maybe I can fit it in afterwards.

More Items

All the bowls are done and I'm well into the second half of this.

Swinging Scythes

Three scythes are almost complete on part six. When the spinner picks this, progress is made. Unfortunately, the spinner has been unkind.

Why I'm So Busy

My stitching and free time has been severely curtailed over the past few months. This is the reason why. His name is Grayson, and he's a handful and more. All these photos of him are from when he was less than a month old.

Bit Rotated

The photo is perpendicular to how it should be. But it does show that I've almost got the third side's garden done. This is a major accomplishment!

Trunk's Done

The trunk of the flower on the upper right is finally done. So are the blue leaf and flower. Motif by motif...

Stitchy Independence

Right now I have more boxes coming in than the ability to open them. So I tuck them in my closet, and when I finish one, the next one comes out. This one will wait a bit.

Teaching Temari

In February and March, I taught temari to a group of women in Mitrovica. It was a good experience for us all.

Stitchy Box Birthday Bash

This box was quite a bit more expensive than the others, and it supposedly has higher quality and more expensive things in it. Guess we'll find out.

Another Row Done

Outside of the motif backstitching, this row is done. Slowly getting there.
