New Year's Meal

We had raclette for our big New Year's meal. It was a good way to start off the year.

Andreas took photos of the food they ate in Krakow. I stayed behind to work. This is from the Green Cupboard. I had eaten there before; it's good.

Rachel sent me all these snacks from Boston. Thank you so much! They're great.

 

Bound and Received

Betsy also quilted this one for me, and I bound it. It's now on Leonora's bed on a regular basis. She loves it. Success!

 

All Quilted Up

My mother in law Betsy quilted this with her machine for me. It's going to make a great blanket when I put the binding on. Thank you!

 

Little Mitten Done

It's definitely not blue, but it's done and ready to make into an ornament.

 

Konspira Restaurant

When we went to Wroclaw, we managed to get a table at Konspira Restaurant. The theme was interesting and the food delicious.

 

Organ and Surround

The Oliwa church is noted for its superior organ. Didn't get to listen to it, but it's large. The rest of the church is so pristine inside.

 

Pointing the Way

My compass rose is all done. I think it came out fairly well. Now to put it into a hoop.

 

Tree Finished

I finished my Christmas tree. Now I need to sit down and make it into a real ornament.

 

Bags and Backpack

A different backpack for the office. And more tote bags because I can always find a use for them as I try to get the exact color I love...

 

Chapel Altar

This was the side altar for a niche dedicated to Saint George in Oliwa Church. I just loved the inlay design and want to emulate it in textiles at some point.

 

Oliwa Church Inside

Pretty typical church for the area. It has such clean lines on the inside. All the vaulting.

 

Baby Emily's Gift

She will be born in May. Her mom likes gray and loved this. I think it came out pretty well, too!

 

Papier Advent Calendar

Have to say I was pretty underwhelmed with this one. Two nice pens, but no good paperclips, and weird sticky notes.
