Coming To the Middle

The middle of the tree is just about done. I think it's looking pretty good. Of course I have three more to go.

Middle Of The Tree

It's the middle of the tree time. Things are going fairly quickly, which I am happy about. This mandala is a bit smaller than some of the others I've done.

Leaves and Tree

Well, making progress on the leaves and tree here. I think it's looking pretty good.

Tree Has Roots

The tree has roots and I like how they're coming out. I even got to start some Algerian eyelet stitches on the left. Lots to go on those.

To The Trees

Yay, I get to do something new on this! And start more specialty stitches too. Lots of Rhodes coming up - and trees.

To The Edge

I am so very close to the edge of the fourth wing.  It's almost time to start specialty stitches and trees.

Nearly Four

I have nearly all four of these bulbs done.  Feeling the progress.

More Of The Same

The lower two ears are filling up fairly fast.  I've had to put an order in for the light green silk.  I'm just about out.  Soon I'll start in on all the rhodes stitches for this bit.

Green And Good

I think this side is going faster than the top did.  

On The Green

I am getting more green filling done, and most of the outline of these two lobes is done.  Definite progress.

Filling In The Lower

I have a good start on filling in the lower lobes now. Maybe they will go faster than the upper ones.

Third Curve

I now have a third curve!  And some bits on the right.  Making some progress on all this swirl.

Eared

I think I have most of the ears done on top.  Now to do the ones on bottom.  

Still Have Ears

Plugging away on these ears; at least they seem mostly full now.

A Tiny Bit More

I only finished one length of thread on this before the photo, but progress is progress.

Two Ears

Still on the ears.  Filling some pretty large spaces.

Two Wings

These wing areas are pretty big, and I have four of them to do!  Time to get cracking.

To The Right

I worked on the right hand side this time.  In those blank spaces are huge numbers of algerian eye stitches.  I am pondering making a start on them.

Another Side

The right got a bit of love this time. I want to get all four quarters to the same point each time.  I will have a LOT of rhodes stitches to fill in once I'm done with this part of the mandala.

Upper Quadrant

This photo is much more true to color than the last one.  I like the swirls on the fabric; they help the design.  Building bits up as I make it bigger.
