Bunker Living
I would not want to have lived in this place. It's so drab and just plain miserable. But, I guess, if you're trying to avoid a chemical or nuclear strike, it's the place to be.

Antiquated Equipment - Bunk'Art 1
When this place was built in the late 1970's and early 1980's, the equipment was already obsolete. It was of Chinese manufacture with technology gotten from the Russians that was possibly stolen from the Americans. A lot of it looks WWII vintage.

Bunk Art 1 - Tirana's "Luxury" Underground Apocalypse Accommodations
The Albanians turned Hoxha's bunker into Bunk'Art, a museum to Albanian communist excess. This is the opening and beginning area of a complex a couple of acres big just outside Tirana.

Uka Farm Food
When we were in Kruja, we decided to eat lunch at Uka Farm on the way back. It was a good choice, as always.

Durres to Bari
We took the night ferry from Durres in Albania to Bari in Italy. The dark is Durres; the light is Bari. It was surprisingly quick to load and unload. We had the presidential suite, and it was the right choice. It was also only about 60 euro more. Food - we were glad we brought our own. It was barely edible. Our ferry was originally built and used in Korea.
