Gone Intercoastal

 Mom and I took an intercoastal waterway cruise while in Fort Lauderdale.  It rained part of the time, but there were a lot of too expensive homes to look at, and it was much easier than walking.

Breakfast In The Sun

Since dinner the night before was so good at the hotel next door, we decided on breakfast there, too.  I got bacon!  I think every time I ate breakfast out, I ordered bacon.  The omelette was good, too, and Mom enjoyed her french toast.

Dinner at 953

First dinner with Mom after she arrived in Fort Lauderdale.  The restaurants at the Hilton were not very good, so we went next door to the Ritz? Anyway, the food was delicious and Mom was fascinated by the jellyfish tank.  The service was great, too.

Deli In Fort Lauderdale

When Mom arrived in Fort Lauderdale, so we stopped by this diner by the airport.  The food was food, and Andreas and Mom both enjoyed reubens.  Mine was a pizza burger.

We had some decent burgers at the Corona Bar in the airport.  The margarita wasn't bad, either!

Woke Up To This

Andreas made my birthday extra special by checking into a Marriott Resort in Orlando and giving me this view to wake up to.  It was a gorgeous place I wouldn't mind going back to.

The Mandatory Hibachi In The USA

On every visit to the US, we go to a hibachi place.  This time, it was in Orlando.  The chef was Filipino, and we had fun.  The food was great, too, and I got to eat tempura!

Bacon Breakfast

I had breakfast with Mom a few times while in Florida.  Breakfast at the Fort Lauderdale Hilton Resort was not really available, and their restaurants were rather lame, so we went next door to have breakfast.  It was great!  This one was an omelette and a side of bacon.  Have to have bacon in the States.

Outdoor Mexican

One night in Fort Lauderdale, we had dinner at a taco place facing the water.  Got to sit outdoors and enjoy the sunset.  Unfortunately, the food was no where near as good as the view.

Gator Wrestling

 This man wrangles alligators for a living.  I'm glad I don't.
