Normandy Peace Museum

If you want a comprehensive view of the second world war, Le Memorial in Caen is the place to go.  It even includes parts the west forgets about, like Nanking.  The first hall is all about the build up to World  War II.

 There were about 15 Germans per bunker.  They were crowded, if you can imagine them inside these spaces.
