Full Hearted

The whole heart is outlined now.  This is pretty close to done, yay!  I could use another finish before the end of the year.

Flowering Out

One more large flower done, as well as a lobe of the heart.

Top Of The Heart

I worked on this a bit on the plane and then at the new house.  Looks pretty good.

Tender Heart

I made a good start on Tender Heart by Riolis.  It's about a fifth done!  

Blackwork's Done!

I finished three things last week, go me!  This was one of them.  I have no idea what I am going to do with it now, but it's off my crazy January list and completed.  I really should have used a different thread color.  Lots of it looks faded out.

Penultimate Round

After a bunch of work on the plane, I'm now on the penultimate round of this piece.  So very little to go!  I might have finished it if I hadn't had to rip out the first side four times...

Most Of The Stripes

There are only two and a bit more rounds to go, but one of them is rather dense.  Maybe I'll get this done soon.

Less Than Usual

This picture makes the stitching even harder than usual to see.  I think I need to get a better photo next time.  I am almost done with the current round for this piece.  Will start the next when I work on it next.

Daily Done

I made a huge amount of progress when I was doing this daily.  I did need to take a break, though, and it's still in my rotation.  Now it's got only three or four smallish rounds to go!

Densest Done

I'm now done with this being my daily piece, but before I dropped it as that, I got the densest part of the piece done.  There isn't all that much  to go, and I'll get it done soon.

Densest Round

I am working on the densest round of this blackwork piece.  As I've been working on it daily, it's been going really well.

Another Round

With daily stitching on this, I've made great progress.  There's another round done and more to come.  It also looks more fully stitched in person.  The subtle difference between floss color and linen color comes across better.

Around The Square

Working around the square on this.  It's slowly getting more done, and I am on round three of six or seven.

Looks Like A Smudge

More of this round is done.  Not completing rounds per session anymore, as they're getting bigger.  I promise it doesn't look like a smudge in person.

I'm working on the next round now.  Coming along, at least.

Reset

After giving up on the filament silk, here's the restart of the Blackwork Challenge.  I also started from the middle this time.

Blackwork About To Be Restart

Well, I don't know what possessed me to use filament silk to do blackwork.  I tried to continue more when I picked this up last week, but it was frustrating.  There's not much started on it, so I'm going to restart - with twisted silk.

All Plotted Out

I have my Blackstone Fantasy Garden done!  It looks pretty good.  This means I get to cross off another Crazy January finish.
