Make Stuff May 2023 #31: Enchanted Green Garden by Julia Lucas

This was a little freebie that I did in about a day. Lots of cute stitches to practice on. I think it'd make a great napkin corner.

 

I Made a Necklace

While on home leave, I brought some things I normally don't get to at home. This necklace is one of those things. I had to make -all- the links myself, so I got a bit more used to twisting wire. Anyway, here it is and I've worn it a few times, too.

 

Bright Temari

This piece is brighter than in the photo. It's a true chartreuse with pink/purple squares. I think it came out pretty well.

 

Twisty Sisters

Two pieces that are kind of strained at the moment as they're not in their final form. This was fairly quick to make despite all the long counting.

 

Temari for Karen

Karen is going to Mauritania. I thought she would appreciate something cheerful, so I made this for her to take with her.

Two different versions of interlocking kikus on this. It looks pretty neat.

This one is from Blue Coppice, and it is done, too. I think it came out even better.

Yes, I try to do this often, but it doesn't happen as often as I'd like. But it's done and ready to be made into an ornament.

I have finished this. I think it looks pretty good, and I will get it made into an ornament in a bit.

Sunflower Seeds is done. Every day I wonder what happened to the little old lady from Mariupul. I hope she made it out safely.

This is meant to be made up into a cube. I will be doing that very soon. I like how it is so far.
