No, it's not April, and no, it's not Texas, but I have bluebonnets! Our seeds sprouted and I have beautiful blue flowers in June. Seeing them makes me happy.
Lots of flowers are blooming in my garden, and they're not only roses. The bachelor buttons are doing well and the zinnias are just beginning to show color. The petunias are spreading all over the place.

The final photos from the Palmgarten are mainly of animals found there, from the stone lions to ducks to brides. The Palmgarten is truly a beautiful place despite the major use it gets daily.
The Palmgarten had a huge block of dahlias planted when we were there in September. They were gorgeous, and there was even a stately lion peeking out from among them.
