Glowy Necklace

The resin in this reminds me of a giant opal, and I like the way it looks.  So it's mine.

Owl And Chain

My filigree owl and the chain I bought to go with it.  Andreas loves owls, so I tend to collect them.

Silver In Kosovo

Kosovo has a silver industry.  The smiths specialize in filigree work, but one of them made this simple bar.  It's mine now.  Here's a link to her facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Silversmith-Argjendaria-KRENARE-RAKOVICA/223094734440829 .  She also speaks English and, I'm sure, would be willing to send abroad.

New Watch

Andreas found a peacock watch for me.  It came in a lot of colors, but this is the one I liked best.  He did offer to buy me more of the same.  The band is a bit wide, but I love the peacock design.

Filigree Cross

Found this at the embassy Christmas fair and bought it for my mom.  It was handmade here in Kosovo.

Christmas Market Necklace Find

Found this at the Rathaus Christmas market and brought it home.  I like the drop necklaces.

Tubular Necklace

Going through another forthemakers box, I made this necklace.  Not particularly pleased with it, but it's done, which means one more box out of the house.

Handmade Jewelry

I picked this up at the winter bazaar at the embassy.  I need a chain for the pendant.

Easy Bracelet

I am finally getting through my For the Makers boxes.  This was a very easy wood beaded bracelet.

Tanzanite Ring

We went to the Ren Fair and shopped for jewelry, evidently.  Andreas went in to the puzzle ring shop, leaving me to look around as he put one back together.  Surprise!  I found this ring and fell in love with it.  It's an early Christmas present from him.

Opals

When at the ren faire, we always shop for jewelry.  We found these lovely sparkly opals and made them a set.

Beaded Headband

Bought this at a permanent booth in Santa Fe.  I'm pretty certain it's cheap and Chinese, but it looks good in my hair.

Hair Feather

I bought this macaw feather at the Indian Market in Santa Fe.  Guess I will have to wear it soon.

Basketweave Earrings

This artist uses traditional basketweave techniques to make jewelry.  Her earrings are made of wire and stone, and she even uses the harder version of basketweave of going clockwise instead of counterclockwise.  I love the look and the creativity and boldness of translating the technique to a complete new medium.

Another Blurry Photo

I couldn't get the camera to focus on these earrings, either.  The left ones are made of wampum shells.  The right is Acoma pottery.  Acoma pottery reminds me of the Romanian pottery I bought when we were in Moldova.

Lapis Earrings

For some reason, I could not get the camera to focus properly on these earrings.  Anyway, they're about two inches  tall, lapis, and the gold is actually gold over copper.  Bought them in Taos.

Blingy Barrette

This hand beaded barrette was found at Indian Market in Santa Fe a week ago.  It's all sparkly and pretty in my hair.  It even matches the kurtas I brought with me.
