I saw this at The French Knot and bought it, along with silk to stitch it. Will start at some point this month.

 

Ready to Cube

This is meant to be made up into a cube. I will be doing that very soon. I like how it is so far.

 

Egging It On

This will also get finished off when I get home. But, for now, it's all stitched up.

 

23 for 2023 #12: Swirly Tree by DebBee's Designs

This was a one day stitch, but all the crowding on the swirl stitches was a pain. It's shiny because I used Brazilian embroidery thread.

 

23 for 2023 #13: Mini Nine Patch Sampler by Colour Complements

Totally different colors than the called for; we'll see if it works.

 

23 for 2023 #8: Quaker Octagon

A nice and easy little start. Should go quickly when I pick it back up.

 

23 for 2023 #10: Autumn Ornament by Helena Chatte

I completely changed up the colors on this, and I think it looks pretty good. Original was done on linen; I've changed to congress cloth.

 

A Useful Finish

I had this little square box. And a completed piece of needlepoint that fit right on top. So I married the two.

 

Diamond Elegance Done

Changing out the colors truly changed the look of this. I like the way it turned out and will probably make another version next year.

 

A Little Armadillo

My armadillo star is stitched up. Next set of starts, time to start another star.

I have a half-starred armadillo to finish.

 

Czarina Done

Of the ornaments in this series that I've completed, I like this one the most. Even if it was a total pain to work with the Flair. But it's done. And it looks magnificent.

 

This is looking pretty good, I think. I like how it's turning out.

 

Green Stands Out

The green really stands out at this point. I hope I get more green in other places or it naturally blends in more as the filling comes in. May make this my next daily project.

 

Textured Treasures Stash

I can't resist a grab bag, so when I saw Textured Treasures had one, I bought. Glad I did. This has so much in it and is soo worth it. Now to get to work.

 

Adding Green

Added some green to this. It's beginning to look majestic.

A Bit Blue

The photo isn't truly color balanced - it should be a bit warmer - but it does show the progress on Czarina. I've got seven of eight golf clubs done.
