Diamond done, now time to make the square around it. The fabric is a lot more pink, and some of these distances are hard to count.

 

One Side And A Bit

I had to take out and redo some of the jessica stitches, but the rest is coming along. I hope to have this done soon-ish. Brought it with me to Greece this week, but the place we are staying doesn't have great light.

The top part is done! Time to do more vines in backstitch.

The outer border lines are started. Still quite a bit to go.

 

Top Framed

The top satin stitch heart gave me so much trouble. I think I frogged it four times. But now it's done and the rest is coming along, too.

 

Past The Gates

Working on the third part now, yay! This is the last part. Lots of backstitching to go though.

 

Tiny Snowflake by Durene Jones: 22 for 2022 #16

This little snowflake turned out quite pretty. I used one of Jodyri's flosses and a scrap of fabric, possibly hers. It will become a Christmas ornament soon. The pattern is from Durene Jones.

Smoking

Smoke from another chimney, coming right up.

 

Bookmark Material

I decided to skip the border after starting it. So this piece is done. I think I'll make it into a wide bookmark.

 

Almost Half Fenced

The second corner is turned. Time to get the smoke done.

The fencing and the center of this corner are done. I have a little bit more plus smoke to go.

 

Four Gates

Done with the cross stitches on part two and time to start the final part. Still working on a lot of backstitching, though.

I am almost all the way around on this. It's time to get cracking.

The top part of the second corner is done. Yay. Now on to making it go on down and to get some of the backstitching done on the right, too.

Gates are coming along. The top half of this part is now done.

 

Starting Second Corner

All the cross stitching is done on the first corner, and the second is started. Still working on previous parts' backstitching, though, so it won't really come to life for a bit.
